ACCELERATED VESTING
It is a form vesting that happens in a faster pace compared to the vesting schedule initially according to the plan of the company’s stock option. This will actually allow the option holder to get benefits monetarily from the option in a faster time. If a company has decided to have an accelerated vesting, then it may already expense some costs connected with the stock options.
