ACCIDENT AND SICKNESS INSURANCE ACT
This is an enforced canadian government statute that states the acceptable conditions and terms of the coverage of health insurance and also details the guidelines that these policies must follow. It is also known as the Uniform Accident and Sickness Insurance Act which is the law that was adopted by CCIR or the Canadian Council of Insurance Regulators. This model legislation is already being enforced in all Canadian provinces bearing minor variations.
