ACCOUNTANTS LIABILITY
An accountant’s liability while performing the duties assigned to him/her. They can be liable for a client’s accounting misstatements. This forces accountants to be very familiar and apply all accounting standards to avoid risk of being liable for fraud. He or she will face legal charges from the company or investors that rely on his or her accountant’s work once proven guilty of some misstatements.
