AIR CARGO INSURANCE
An insurance policy that aims to protect a buyer or seller of the goods whenever an item is shipped through air. It is designed to protect the insured items against damages, destruction, or lost. Insurance companies, freight forwarders, trade service intermediaries are the ones that usually offer the cargo insurance. A variation in the amount of coverage and deductible in the insurance depends on the insurance provider.
