ANALYST EXPECTATION
A report indicating a particular company’s stock will perform in the future, specifically in the coming quarter. It is usually done by an analyst or investment bank. They guide on how the company will perform. It is considered to have "beat expectations" if a stock performs better than than what analysts expected.
