AUTOMATIC SAVINGS PLAN
A kind of personal savings system wherein the plan contributor automatically makes a deposit, whose amount is already fixed, at a particular interval into their investment account. The usual structure of this kind of saving system is an automatic transfer coming from a bank account of an individual towards a different investment or savings account every two weeks. Then, every time the individual gets a paycheck from his/her employer, their predetermined savings amount will be automatically transferred into the savings account.
