B SHARES
These are shares in companies that are based in China (mainland) that trade on Shenzhen or Shanghai stock exchanges. These B-shares are also eligible for investment of foreign companies given that they invest in the proper currency required for the account ie Shenzhen B-shares require Hong Kong Dollars while Shanghai B-shares require US Dollars.
