CAPITAL TRANSFER TAX
An inheritance tax imposed in the United Kingdom on estates surpassing a particular worth. In 1975, this tax replaced the general estate duty, and in 1986, was itself replaced by the IHT or Inheritance Tax. The number of tax comes from the worth of the deceased's properties moved within a particular time of the death (both personal and real estate), less charitable gifts.
