CATCH-UP CONTRIBUTION
Retirement savings contributions enabling individuals over 50 years old to pay additional contributions to their 401(k) and/or individual retirement accounts. The contribution was created by the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 (EGTRRA) for older individuals to allocate sufficient savings for retirement.
