CHILD AND DEPENDENT CARE CREDIT
Non-refundable tax credit for unreimbursed childcare costs paid by working taxpayers. This is created to encourage individuals to pay childcare expenses for them to remain gainfully employed. It is claimed on Form 2441 for taxpayers filing Form 1040, or Schedule 2 for Form 1040A.
