CIVIL SERVICE RETIREMENT SYSTEM - CSRS
System establishing the retirement, disability, and survivor benefits for certain Federal employees. The Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) replaced CSRS in 1987. But to the civilian service employees who were hired before 1983, they will still receive their benefits through CSRS.
