COMMON STOCK FUND
Mutual fund investing in the common stock of several publicly traded firms. Such funds provide diversification and offer time savings. These are shares of ownership in a firm without any special privileges including preferred creditor status and guaranteed dividends. Common stock funds vary in risk depending on the types of stocks in which it invest.
