CONFERENCE CALL
Event in which a company reports its quarterly results and forward or projected earnings to the investors. Normally, the meeting starts with an uninterrupted report from the management followed by the question and answer. While the investors can only listen, the reporting firm will answer questions from analysts. Also called analyst call, earnings call, earnings conference call, or results-earnings call.
