CONSTANT DOLLAR ACCOUNTING
Accounting method gauging figures in financial statements that are inflation-adjusted. The technique requires changing the historical non-monetary assets and liabilities to current dollar values. In general, this is done using a price index. Also called cost accounting or constant value accounting.
