COST ACCOUNTING STANDARDS BOARD - CASB
US government body responsible for promoting consistency and standards in cost accounting practice encompassing federal grants and contracts. Established in 1970, the body is comprised five members including a chair and four members with experience in lengthy government contract cost accounting. It was dissolved in 1980 but was re-established in 1988.
