COST COMPANY ARRANGEMENT
Agreement between firms working together where participants in a project receive products or services in exchange for funding the production, operations and other expenses related to the project. The cost company is a firm created out of the arrangement. Participants receive the exact proportion of product and pay the production and operation costs, essentially operating at a non-profit basis since it has no profit margin attached to the product.
