COVER ON APPROACH
Investment technique in which it closes out a profitable short position as the security surges toward a key support level. As a security comes close to a support level, the possibility of it weakening may lessen since buying has come into the security at that level, keeping the price from a continued downward move and restrains the gains of the short trade.
