CRAWLING PEG
Exchange rate adjustment system in which the fixed exchange rate of a currency can fluctuate within a specific band of rates. The par value of the said currency is also adjusted for inflation and other market factors. The gradual shift of the currency’s par value is an alternative to a drastic and substantial devaluation of the currency.
