CURRENT ASSETS
- Balance sheet account representing the total amount of all assets that can be changed into cash within one year. The assets include cash, accounts receivable, marketable securities, prepaid expenses, inventory, and other liquid assets which can be easily converted to cash.
- In personal finance, all assets an individual can readily convert into cash to pay off outstanding debts and cover liabilities without selling fixed assets.
