DAVID W. DORMAN
He is a former CEO and president of AT&T. In 1981, he entered the telecommunications industry with Sprint. He became the president of the company in 1981. He also has been the CEO Concert and Pacific Bell. In December 2000, he became the president of AT&T and became its chairman and CEO in 2002 to 2006. Dorman was born in 1954 in Georgia and earned his bachelor of science degree with high honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1975. While at AT&T, Dorman worked to modernize the company's infrastructure, sell its services as bundles, make it the largest internet provider, pay down its debt and increase its stock value.
