DIVIDEND ARBITRAGE
Options trading strategy employed to generate additional income by obtaining put options and the same amount of stock prior to its ex-dividend date, then exercising the option after taking the dividend. When utilized on a security with low volatility and a high dividend, this can realize profits while incurring very low or no risk.
