EAGLES

Acronym introduced by Spanish bank Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) in 2010 denoting the emerging and growth-leading economies of Egypt, Korea, Indonesia, Mexico, Taiwan, and Turkey, and alongside Russia, India, Brazil, and China. These countries are expected to generate 50% of the worldwide economic growth until 2020, while the G7 countries the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, Germany, Canada, and Italy to render only 14%.
