EARNING ASSETS
Income-generating investment owned by an individual, institution, or business. It includes bonds, income from rental property, certificates of deposit (CDs), stocks, and other interest or dividend from accounts or instruments. It must be stated on the tax filings. Institutions submit yearly statements for tax reporting which include the total amount of interest and/or dividends generated.
