EMERGING MARKET ECONOMY
A country’s economy geared towards advancement, as seen by certain liquidity in local debt and equity markets, as well as the existence of some market exchange and regulatory body. In general, these economies have no level of market efficiency and rigid standards in accounting and securities regulation to be aligned with advanced economies. But it normally have a physical financial infrastructure such as a stock exchange, a bank, and a unified currency.
