ENDOWMENT FUND
Investment fund an institution sets up in which periodic withdrawals from the invested capital are used for continuous operations or other particular purposes. Frequently, churches, hospitals, universities, and nonprofits use the fund, funded by donations, that are tax-deductible for donors.
