Committee responsible for supervising national energy policy, public health, general interstate and foreign commerce, and consumer affairs and protection relative to exploration, production, storage, supply, marketing, pricing, and regulating energy resources and development, among others. One of the oldest House committees, EIC was formed by the US House of Representatives.
