EXCHANGE
Marketplace where commodities, derivatives, securities, and other financial vehicles are traded. Its main function is to ensure balanced and organized trading, as well as efficient dissemination of price information for any securities trading on the exchange. The exchange, can refer to a physical location, gives a platform for firms, governments, and other groups to conduct business and/or to sell securities to investors. May also be called bourse or share exchange, depending on geographical area.
