EXTENDER CLAUSE
In real estate, provision of an exclusive listing agreement allowing the agent to receive full commission following the expiration of the exclusive listing agreement if a potential buyer the agent brought to the house came back later and decided to finish the purchase. Also called protection clause or safety clause.
