INSURANCE COMPANY CREDIT RATING
Opinion of an independent agency on the financial strength of an insurance company. The credit rating denotes an insurance company’s capability to pay policyholders’ claims. However, it does not indicate how well an insurance firm’s securities are likely to perform for investors. Also, this rating is an opinion, not a fact, which can differ from one rating agency to another.
