INVERSE SAUCER

A technical chart formation that shows the security’s price has hit its high and the upward trend has ended. This is depicted by an unchanging flattening of the uptrend to such a level the market, at one moment, goes through a sideways range, but slowly begins to drop slowly and finally moves downward. This rare formation gives no definite price target but normally denotes somewhat a lot of potential since 50% or more retracement of the prior uptrend can be anticipated. Also called rounded top.
