Television reporting on the economy, the stock market, and other business and financial matters that are deemed news but may have more entertainment sense than factual value. In general, this is not a good tool to use in making financial decisions. Investotainment, a play word on the term infotainment, is geared towards entertaining viewers using tactics such as fiery debates between talking heads and alarmist coverage of short-terms fluctuations in stock prices.
