A document that gives details on what business expenses are deductible, procedure for reporting expenses on the return, records needed to prove expenses, and treatment of any expense reimbursements a business may receive. Deductions for entertainment, gifts, travel or transportation-related expenses are available for items considered to be ordinary (accepted as common in a given business) and necessary (suitable or helpful for a certain business).
