JAPAN ETFS
An exchange-traded fund which invests majority of its assets in Japanese equities that deal on local stock exchanges. The performance of Japan ETFs is not connected to the performance of the underpinning index when gauged in US dollars because the change in the exchange rate between the Japanese yen and the greenback should be considered. Its performance is anchored on two factors: performance of underlying equities and outcome of changing yen into dollars.
