LIFETIME COST
Total cost incurred from possessing goods over its anticipated lifetime, aside from the cost of acquiring the product itself. These add-on expenses include maintenance, insurance, and renovation, among others. When added together over the lifetime of the goods, the lifetime cost can be greater than the original purchase price of the underlying good.
