LIMIT ORDER INFORMATION SYSTEM - LOIS
An electronic system that consists of price and quotes on exchange-listed securities. Subscribers and specialists use the data produced by the system in order to find the most opportunistic market for placing a trade because it disseminates information on where a security is being traded, best bid price, offer, and order quantities. It also helps stock traders from selling at an undesired higher or lower price.
