LOW-INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDIT
A federal program that provides an incentive for developers to build, purchase, and refurbish housing for low-income taxpayers. It also gives non-refundable credit to those who invest in low-income housing projects to stimulate capital flow in this sector. Usually, multi-family dwellings are the kind of housing structures that is used.
