L-SHAPED RECOVERY
An L-shaped recovery line that is plotted in the chart. It depicts economic measures like employment rate, GDP, and industrial output. There will be a drastic decline in the metrics, followed by long period of sluggish growth or recovery. Japan’s "Lost Decade", the nation’s recession period in 1990s, is the classic example of L-Shaped Recovery.
