MANAGER OF MANAGERS - MOM
A financial intermediary that hires investment managers in order to control aspects of a client’s investment fund. Moreover, MOM tracks the performance of every investment manager. It also has the authority to fire inefficient managers and hire replacements on behalf of the client. This is different from the traditional mutual fund where a single investment portfolio manager makes all the asset management decisions. It is one type of multi-manager investment.
