MARKET JITTERS
Apprehension or nervousness about the state of the market due to uncertainty or fear on market conditions. As a result, traders sell some stocks, which they feel increase their vulnerability to certain unfavorable market conditions. It was one of the factors that contributed to the Dow’s downfall during its trading session. High rates of unemployment, poor corporate earnings, or uncertainty with the Federal Reserve are some of the things that can cause market jitters.
