MURABAHA
An Islamic financial transaction in which an intermediary purchases a property or an asset with free and clear title to it. Like the rent-to-own scheme, the intermediary and prospective buyer then agree on the selling price including the rate of profit for the intermediary that can be made through series of installments or by paying it off in full.
