NEGATIVE WATCH
This is a type of credit-related status given to a company when rating agencies like Moody’s and Standard and Poor’s consider lowering the credit rating of that particular company. When a negative rating is given, that company has a bigger chance of its credit rating being reduced within the following three-month time period.
