OSTRICH
This term refers to the investors that tend to disregard bad news that may impact their investments. This is based on the famous misconception that when an ostrich bird senses danger and can’t run away, it buries its head in the sand. It is similar to investors who exhibit ostrich-like behavior. They prefer to ignore negative news which could eventually have a significant impact on their investment portfolios, hoping that the problem will just go away.
