SCHEDULE D
Schedule D is a US income tax form filed by taxpayers. The purpose of schedule D is report capital gains or losses that have been realized. It is mandatory for investors to report capital gains and losses that have occurred due to asset sales that may yield various cash values received different from the original price. The aim of this is to affix some amount of taxation to the generated income and wealth from investment activities.
