SECOND LIEN DEBT
Second Lien Debt are the kinds of debts that are below the senior debts. It is a subordinate debt that is issued versus the same or part of the same collateral. Second Lien Debt is just behind higher lien debts in the case of a borrower defaulting in terms of their rights for the collection of proceeds from the underlying collateral of the debt.
