SELL TO CLOSE
Sell To Close is a phrase used in options trading. It is an order for a sale of a personal option followed by the termination of the person’s position. Sell To Close signifies that the person intends to sell the option for the purpose of closing the long position in it. The counterpart of sell to close is sell to open where the person writes in the option for a short position.
