Semi-Annual Bond Basis (SABB) is a conversion metric. It compares the rates of bonds with different characteristics. The purpose of SABB is to discover and establish a common measure to compare and contrast the varying bonds side-by-side especially because bons vary in coupon rate and payment frequencies.
