SET-UP HEDGE
Set-Up Hedge is an arbitrage strategy. The goal of a set-up hedge is for the capitalization of mispriced conversion factors and isolation of risk unrelated to the error. It makes use of a convertible security composed of a long position and then shorting the underlying stock. Upon appreciation of the underlying asset, the premium on the convertible security will be increased, making profit for the trader.
