SIDEWAYS MARKET / SIDEWAYS DRIFT
A sideways market / sideways drift is when there is no uptrend or downtrend in the price of a trading instrument. This happens when the trading instrument is just playing near the neutral zone where its actions that may be upward or downward is not significant enough to merit a trend. Naturally, a sideways market is thought of as trading horizontally with no bears and no bulls.
