SPREAD BETTING
Spread betting is a speculation type where investors take a bet on a security’s price movement. The offered qoutes of a spread betting company will be two: the bid and offer price or the spread. Once offered, the investors bet if the underlying stock price will exceed the offer or fall below the bid. The investor does not own the underlying stock bet upon.
