STATUTE OF FRAUDS
Statute of Frauds is a legal act the mandates selected contracts to be accomplished in writing. The Statute of Frauds vary per jurisdiction but generally, the following types of contracts are include: contracts for land sale, contracts for sales of goods whose price exceed a specified amount, contracts that won’t be accomplished within one year, contracts where an individual or entity will be paying the debt of another individual or group.
